If you enjoy a beverage from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and checkbooks at home. Take only the cash you anticipate to use on refreshments, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You might have a profit after a drunken evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to catch a marathon toss at a hot craps game. Keep that story because it’s as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. The two just do not go well together.
Keeping your moolah at home might be a bit drastic, but precautionary measures for drastic behavior is required. If you play to win, then don’t drink and gamble. If you like to burn your $$$$ without a worry, then drink all the gratuitous booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of following losses after your inebriated brain throws away everything!
Let me to carry this one step further. Don’t drink alcohol and then jump on the net to wager in your preferred online casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my condo, however seeing that I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
