Back not several years past, I used to pitch a tent just a short two-hour trip away from Atlantic City. It was no big event for me to hop in my car on Saturday and Sundays and visit the Strip for a while. I was able to wager whenever I wanted, and I admit that I became a tad tainted in that aspect.
